Fear for endangered species
We obviously care about human health first, but the Bronx Zoo discovery should be alarming for entire populations of wild animals, not just cats. It's been known for years that wild apes are prone to human pulmonary diseases, now the threat also seems real for wild cats worldwide. Many of them have already been endangered and this latest issue should also be monitored.
