Best Market was a family-owned, regional supermarket chain with 30 stores in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Based in Bethpage, New York, the company has been owned by the Raitses family since the company's first store opened in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York in 1994.
Best Market typically has aisles of meat, fresh produce, dairy, and baked goods. Shelves are also reserved for canned and packaged goods and for various non-food items such as kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, pharmacy products, and pet supplies.
