Hornbacher's - The history
Hornbacher’s was started by Ted Hornbacher and Jim Custer in 1951 when they opened their first store on the corner of Eighth Avenue and Main Avenue, Moorhead, Minnesota.
The stores are characterized by their wide range of products. Despite fresh meat and dairy products, tasty cured meats and bakery products as well as healthy and juicy vegetables and fruits, in Smiling Shopping one can also find home products, household chemistry, and other industrial goods at very attractive prices.
Hornbacher's stores have a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The stores are excellently located, which makes shopping in them even more pleasant.
