Automatic refund of 15% for both April and May should be seen by customers in the form of an automatic credit to all eligible accounts.
Progressive
20% credit (or direct refund) for April and May is Progressive's way of keeping customers, with further incentives possible. The company is also dropping late fees or non-payment cancellations through May 15.
State Farm
The company expects that on average its customers will see 25% back on their credit for the period between March 20 and May 31. This should amount to $20 per month, per car. However, the refund is not expected to come until June.
Travelers
Automatic credit for April and May premium payments is expected.
USAA
For all policies that have been in place by March 31, USAA is offering 20% credit for two months. In total this could amount to $520 million returned to customers, with refunds expected within weeks.
