Target

All Target locations have a set closing time of 9 p.m. every day, however their opening hours may differ between stores. What is also universal is the hour for seniors and persons with underlying conditions, set an hour before regular opening every Wednesday. While customer limits are introduced, they vary between locations, subject to local regulations.

Lowe's

The home improvement giant has announced in late March that all stores would close at the same times, precisely 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Customer limits are introduced, however specific location limits are determined live, based on actual foot traffic. The chain has improved its curbside pickup service, however not all locations offer it at the time of writing.

Food Lion

So far, the South Carolina chain is the only major retailer not to have introduced new, shorter opening hours. Thankfully, the stores do include an hour for seniors and immunocompromised persons every Monday and Wednesday between 7 and 8 a.m. However, the stores are not closed for other shoppers at these times, everyone is simply asked to comply.

Save a Lot

The Missouri-originating chain is one of the very few not to set uniform opening/closing hours nationwide. While store hours have changed and special opening hours are in place for seniors and disabled customers, these vary between locations and should first be checked on the chain's website.
