store changes

New opening hours and safety precautions, like one-way isles – all in place to ensure and facilitate social distancing and prevent the spread of COVID-19. What are the new rules near you?

Over the past three weeks the way we do shopping has changed fundamentally. Here are Frequent-Ads.com most popular store chains and the changes they've introduced to create a safe environment when you're shopping! Please keep in mind, these general rules apply nationwide and additional precautions may be taken on a local level, depending on your county or city law.

Menards

In order to limit the number of people in stores, Menards decided to no longer allow full families. Parents are asked to leave kids under 16 at home, unaccompanied minors are not allowed inside. Nor are pets, unless they are service animals. In order to allow thorough restocking and cleaning between days, opening hours have also changed. Stores are now open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

Walgreens

Most of the chain's 24-hour locations have shifted to being fully open between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., while allowing drive-thru pickup at other times. On Tuesdays one hour before opening (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.) is dedicated to seniors, along with caregivers or immediate families. Special discounts are planned on Tuesdays for customer 55 or older. Walgreens became one of the chains to provide all staff with face masks.
