Shop'n Save - The history
Shop'n Save is an American chain of grocery stores with its headquarter in Kirkwood, Missouri, currently owned by SuperValu, based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Shop'n Save opened its first store in 1979 in Belleville, Illinois wanting to provide their customers with a variety of quality products at a lower price. But saving customers' money isn't their only goal; they are also focused on doing much for the community, starting with helping local food drives to events for Special Olympics and the Crisis Nursery.
There are 41 locations in the St. Louis, Missouri, area, but SuperValu also licenses the Shop’n Save name to 90 stores in Maryland, Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
