When you go through COVID-19 – what next?

As more and more celebrity contractions are teaching us, everyone can be a victim of the novel coronavirus. And while most of us will likely only develop flu-like symptoms, it's important to know what happens when you're through with the disease.

When one hears of British Prime Minister being hospitalised, it doesn't really matter that it's only for testing, it's still scary. When you hear of Tom Hanks having the virus, you instantly wish him well, because we all love 'the Gump'. And he did recover, as did his wife and the singer P!nk. And with each passing day we should hear more and more news like that. Even if the pandemic hasn't hit its peak just yet, every day at least four times as many people recover than die.

The important part is for one to be sure of recovery and it's not easy as testing isn't available as widely as it should be. In an ideal scenario you should learn from a test that you are first positive for COVID-19 and then negative, once the disease is defeated by your body. But for many Americans the most realistic scenario is not being tested before and not being tested after. That's why it's important for everyone to act as responsibly as possible.
