Bashas - The history
The history of Bashas' stores is very closely related to the state of Arizona. The company was founded by brothers Ike and Eddie Basha, Sr. in 1932 right here and since then it has been developing with the evolving Arizona. Now there are more than 100 stores across the whole state.
The Basha family name can be seen everywhere now, from street names to the school names. It all gives our customers an image of how integrated with Arizona the company is.
Nowadays Bashas' is not only one of the leaders on the Arizona market but also one of Arizona's largest employers. From the very beginning, in 1932, the company is committed to its communities through services and support but also by caring for the future of their environment through sustainability efforts.
The company is growing all the time. Over the years, it has acquired and developed many different food formats, such as Bashas' Diné, Food City, AJ's Fine Foods and Eddie's Country Store.
