Aaron's - The history
The company Aaron Rents was launched on 19 June 1955 by R. Charles Loudermilk, Sr.
Loudermilk and his partner invested equally $500 each. They went to an army surplus store and bought their first 500 chairs which they quickly managed to rent to an auction in Atlanta. And that's how it all started.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the company flourished and at that time began to open stationary stores. At first, however, they only rented furniture.
The 1980s brought another rapid expansion of the company due to numerous acquisitions, for example of such companies as Modern Furniture or Metrolease.
Aaron's is still focused on the development and constantly changes its offer, adjusting it to both customers growing expectations and the realities of the ever-changing market.
