Festival Foods - The history
For only $ 500 Paul and Jane Skogen opened SKA’s IGA in 1931. Being a family-owned company, Dave Skogen, son of Paul and Jane Skogen took over as President of the company. Under the leadership of Dave, bought the Red Owl store in Holmen, Wisconsin. Festival Foods then open their first store in Onalaska, Wisconsin.
Currently, they have 28 stores in different parts of the country. Dave stepped down as president of Festival foods in 2005 and his son Mark Skogen took over as the CEO of the company.
